Made from red oak with walnut splines. It features hand cut dovetails with through-mortised splined tenons. Hung with a French cleat. The grain is continuous through the two drawer faces The facing kitchen had natural oak cabinents. A standard hutch would not fit in the room, so this was a obvious solution.
